Frequently Asked Questions

What documents are required to start the legal review?
To begin, we need a copy of the draft sales contract, any pre-purchase agreements, land registry extracts, cadastral plans and proof of identity for all buyers. If financing is arranged, the bank’s financing commitment letter is also necessary.
How long does the contract review take?
Our standard review process takes 5–7 working days from receipt of complete documentation. Expedited reviews can be arranged subject to prior agreement and availability.
What are your fees for apartment purchase support?
Fees depend on the complexity of the transaction and the value of the property. We provide a detailed fee quotation in CHF after an initial assessment of your case.
Can you negotiate terms on my behalf?
Yes. We can draft and propose contract amendments, negotiate delivery timelines, payment schedules and specify any conditions precedent on your behalf.
Do you assist with notary appointments?
We coordinate scheduling, prepare all statutory declarations and accompany you to the notary to ensure the deed is correctly executed and registered.
How do you handle cross-border transactions?
Our team has experience with international clients. We liaise with foreign counsel, translate key documents and ensure compliance with Swiss tax and AML regulations.
What is your cancellation or modification policy?
If you decide not to proceed before we have begun contract work, you may cancel at no charge. Once we start drafting or reviewing documents, fees for services performed up to that point will apply.
